Honda CRF80F (XR80)
The Honda 80/100 was first introduced in 1979 as the XR80 and 1981 as the XR100. The bike was an updated version of the super popular XR75s of the 1970s. Honda transformed the 80/100 into more of a play bike as the 2-strokes took over on the racing side. The XR80/100 engines are some of the best 4-stroke engines ever designed. They are super light, high revving, and dead reliable. The first big change for the XRs came in 1985 with the introduction of the single shock and plastic gas tank. In 1992 they received an electronic ignition that made the world a happier place. In 2001 they received a complete body work makeover and again in 2004 with the name being changed to CRF. Let’s face it; the CRF80 and CRF100 are where all backyard racing started. From LangTown to the MiniMoto SX, BBR has been there pounding laps with the best of them. The must have items are the chain guide, cradle, exhaust system, bore kit, and shifter. BBR has many more items for your XR/CRF to help you become the king of your backyard so feel free to give us a call.
