Mini Moto SX 2012 went off May 6 in Las
Vegas. BBR had another great year with 5 AMA #1 plates. Check
out the photos here: |

featured a first time over-under jump. Photo courtesy Adam Booth. |

Ryan Abrigo won the 12" expert class and the World Final and
collected $8000. |

Derek Costella was fast as always - but when you've won Mini
Moto 6 times you have a huge target on your back. Derek didn't
have one clean lap all weekend. He still had a blast as usual. Photo courtesy Drew Ruiz. |

|
Carson Brown won the 12" Youth 13-17 class in his first year.
Nobody loves riding pitbikes more than Carson. He was the
happiest kid in the world. Photo courtesy Drew Ruiz. |

Carson jumped the big triple lap after lap and skimmed the whoops
on his way to the big win. Photo courtesy Drew Ruiz. |

|
On lap 2 of the 10" class Carson broke his big toe but hung on
for 3rd place anyway. Carson's going to have fun riding with
that boot cast for the next 6 weeks... Photo courtesy Adam Booth. |

|
Devin Strong won the 12" Youth Stock/Mod with a wild ride from
the back of the pack. |

Kyle Hoover rode strong all weekend and led the youth class over
half the race before one bobble sent him back to fifth. |
|
|
11 year old Jensen Brown (744) in his first Mini Moto SX pulled
off a 4th place finish. He's hooked. |
|
|
It took 9 years but Duane Brown finally got it done - winning
the 50 Stock/Mod class. There were sparks flying and bikes
littered all over the track but everybody seemed to be smiling
afterwards. Photo courtesy Drew Ruiz. |

|
Duane Brown raced his 1978 XR75 in the 150 class. He hole
shot and led for half a lap but that was as long as the glory
lasted. Here he looks for Shawn Rinehart - expecting payback
for a rough qualifier! 2 corners later, Shawn dropped the
hammer and cruised to the big win. |
|
|
Here Duane leads the 50 Stock/Mod class with Ricky Fitzgerald
close behind. They swapped paint in every corner and had an
epic battle. Duane and Ricky both called it the wildest 50
race ever. They both have the bruises and big smiles to prove
it. Photo courtesy Adam Booth. |

|
Hiroshi Nakayama came over from Japan and won the 10" Amateur
class on his BBR bike. |
